Nine Smile (2009.12.06)

Today was the final day for Morning Musume Concert Tour 2009 Fall ~Nine smile~.

Smile MC segment (Afternoon)

Before the concert, Aika was doing stretches with Eri. As they were stretching, Eri told Aika about her socks having holes in them. Not only was there a hole at the big toe, there was also a hole at the heels. After counting, they realised that the pair of socks had five holes.

Consultation corner (Afternoon)

The situation the girls had to act in today was when a visitor in the zoo calls out her name but after she turns around, she realises that the visitor was calling an animal who shares the same name. Eri method of handling such situations...(Using Linlin's name)
Linlin : Linlin!
Eri : (Turns around) (Mumbling softly to herself) Oh my god, she was calling the panda, not me. Under such circumstances, I have no choice but to play the role of the breeder.
Eri : (Normal voice) Yes! This is panda Linlin from China, Sichuan! Please take only a photo ~ And over there, we have a hippopotamus!
Eri : Do something like that.
Wotas : (Applause)
Linlin : Kamei-san is awesome.

For Koharu's graduation speech (Evening), Eri told Koharu that she enjoyed working together with her. Koharu said that she found Eri scary at first but back then, when Koharu was still unable to dance well, Eri helped her out. Example, she wasn't able to do the dance for How Do You Know This Japan and Eri patiently taught her the moves.

The concert tour is finally over. Eri deserves a good rest.

Nine Smile (2009.12.05)

All Eri needs to do is to flip over her hand and it'll be Eri's "Gazen Tsuyome" pose.

The topic for the consultation corner in the afternoon was about walking in heels. Since its easy to lose balance at times when wearing heels, Eri gave advice to Linlin on what to do after falling.

Eri : (Walks and falls. Staying in the position she fell, she took out her imaginary mobile phone) Because of you, mommie, I fell down!
Fans : Eh ~
Eri : A mobile phone can be a great friend at times.
Gaki-san : You always make your mother the bad person whenever she is not around huh?
Eri : Its okay to blame it on someone if its something minor.

For the evening concert, it was Eri's turn for the solo MC segment. Her mother had an appointment with the dentist in the morning. Despite Eri telling her to that she would wake up on her own then, her mother called her up before she left for her appointment. Seeing that its still early, the sleepy turtle went back to sleep. When she woke up, she panicked because she thought she would be late but she made it to the concert in time.

The topic for the consultation corner in the evening is about karaokes. One often walks into the wrong room after leaving his/her own karaoke room to use the washroom. Eri's advice to avoid embarrassment under such situations is...

Eri : (Opens the wrong karaoke room's door. Realises it and takes out her imaginary mobile phone) Mommie! I told you its the wrong room!
Junjun & Linlin : (lol)
Eri : I'm...funny?
Junjun : That was the best!
Eri : As long as you have your mobile phone with you, you can easily push the blame to your daddy and mommie.

Moving on to the last MC segment, as usual, after Junjun added something to her conclusion, Eri copied her line. Tonight, it was "Good night." However, the first time Eri did it, it sounded a little weird. The audience then chanted for her to do it again which she did with a very sweet "Good night ~"

As of today, Rainbow Pink is also in the concert set list. After the encore, Sayu and Koharu will perform Rainbow Pink and after that, there will be a second encore.

Nine Smile (2009.11.29) - Mic recording

My write-up of last weekend's Nine Smile concerts didn't include any Eri-unrelated details...well, because I wasn't in the mood to. So anyway, here's just a short one on Aichan and Gaki-san.

(2009.11.29) Kobe - Niigaki Risa (Last MC, Love Machine)

After the last MC, Gaki-san did an impersonation of Koharu which earned her a chop on the head from Aichan. Gaki-san's five stars reaction to that?

Gaki-san : OW! THAT HURTS, YOU IDIOOOT!

(2009.11.29) Kobe - Kamei Eri (Last MC, Love Machine)

As for Eri's microphone recording, it includes her "I'll give you my heart" line which she apologised to Junjun softly after doing it since it was just for laughs. Afterwards, Koharu sang a couple of lines from Nanchatte Renai alone and in the recording. You can hear Eri laughing at Koharu and saying that that's embarrassing. She didn't say it directly into the microphone, so you won't be able to hear it if you listen to the fan recording of the full concert.

There are other members' microphone recordings too but lets not do extra work here since uploaders will probably be uploading them onto forums. Do check out the fan reports for Nine Smile concerts. There are quite a number of Aichan-Gakisan, Gakisan-Koharu and individual members' moments nowadays.

Nine smile (2009.11.28) & (2009.11.29)

During yesterday's concert in Tokushima, like what she did in the concert in Tokyo, Eri playfully teased Junjun during the last MC after Junjun added a "Muack" to her round-up talk. Eri imitated her and added a "Muack" too to her conclusion.

As for the afternoon consultation corner today, Junjun's trouble was not being able to address both Takahashi Ai and Niigaki Risa as Aichan and Gaki-san even though both of them asked her to. Linlin on the other hand got used to calling Gaki-san Gaki-san on the day she was allowed to unlike Koharu, Aika and Junjun. Eri remembered how she wasn't used to calling Gaki-san Gaki-san at first and went "Nii...Gaki-san." Now, she calls Gaki-san's nickname so often that she doesn't know how many times she uses it per day. A consultation being a consultation corner...

Gaki-san : What would you do if Abe-san (Abe Natsumi) told you to address her as Nacchi?
Eri : (Behaving like a suspicious person walking towards Nacchi) Na, Na, Na, Na, Nacchi.
Fans : (lol)
Gaki-san : That's cute ~ (lol) Why not you (Junjun) try that too?
Junjun : Ga, Ga, Ga, Ga, Gaki-san.
Gaki-san : Somehow, the way Junjun does it is different (From Eri).

According to Sayu during her MC segment with Reina, Eri often tells her that Aojiru is good for health and Sayu is now hooked on Aojiru. Oh yes, the first row of audience for the afternoon concert was filled with Eri's fans.

Moving on the evening concert, Junjun ended her last MC talk with a "I'll give you my heart" together with a heart formed using her fingers. Eri was being mischievous again and went "I'll give you my heart" too with a funny facial expression.

FYI, there was a Koharu call during the evening concert. Four more concerts to go!

Nine smile (2009.11.15)

Again, no Eri moments *Obviously unhappy* Anyway, during Aruiteru, Aichan leaned on Gaki-san's shoulder and Gaki-san looked a little shy. However, after that, during the same song, Gaki-san went up close with Aichan and looked into her eyes as though she was going to kiss her. Whoops, sounds like Prince Gaki and Cinderella Aichan huh? Later on during SONGS, Aichan fell down.

Also, today again, there were Reina calls and all the fans used blue light sticks during the encore. Reina then ended the concert with a "OtsukaReina!" with the fans (There was a double encore which lasted for around 3 minutes). Talking about the 20-year-old Reina...

Reina : So I've turned 20 and the adult side of me...well, up till now, I've been saying I'm forever-13 and that I don't want to become an adult but from now on, I'm going to carry the self-awareness in adults in me.
Fans : Oh ~
Reina : For my looks too...I'm often told that I'm the small breast character (of Morning Musume)
Fans : (lol)
Reina : So I thought...maybe it'll be good if my breasts grow bigger...
Fans : (Cheers and applause)
Reina : Ah! Saying this myself makes me embarrassed!
Fans : (lol)

Reina's face turned red and looked really cute that way according to a fan. FYI, on her solo Ameba show, Reina said she thought Sayu is the small breast character of Morning Musume. However, the fans who were outside the studio didn't agree with her and felt that Reina is the small breast character instead of Sayu.

That's about it. Only 7 concerts left for this concert tour!

Nine smile (2009.11.14)

There weren't much fan reports for the concerts in Hiroshima today so it'll be short (Aichan focus). Not much of happenings except for Aichan and her cute mistakes. During Sakura Mankai, Aichan went onto the stage without her fan. A staff called Aichan back from the backstage and she quickly left the stage before returning with her fan. Quite a number of fans saw that. Later on during Handmade City, at the point where everyone got hyped up, Aichan fluffed her lines. Aichan may stumble on her words frequently, but it's pretty rare to see her messing up in a song. Oh yes, something random, Aichan tied Junjun's hair up for Junjun today. Coming back to the concert, Sayu tried to kiss Aichan (again) and when she moved closer to Aichan, instead of kissing her, she knocked her head against Aichan's.

The concerts tomorrow will be held in Fukuoka, Reina's hometown.

Nine smile (2009.11.08)

Aww! So cute ♥

A write-up for today's concerts! Starting off with the consultation corner. For the afternoon concert, Junjun talked about not being able to make more Japanese friends. Eri's advice to that?

Eri : From what I've lived through until now, I've learned that when it comes to friends, it is quality over quantity.
Fans : Oh!
Eri : Junjun, you have good quality friends like Kamei Eri around you!
Fans : Eh!
Eri : Woah, you guys are smiling ~
Junjun : I think that quality is more important too so I'm glad to have friends like Kamei-san.
Eri : We have something similar in that area then.
Gaki-san : ...She says.

For the evening concert, the topic was about standing in trains. To Eri, standing on trains is like battling with oneself. She has to fight against herself and makes sure she stands stably when the train shakes a little too much. What a way to describe her experiences with trains ^^;

Talking about trains, during the Sayu-Reina MC yesterday, when Sayu was on a train, there were these 2 guys who kept looking at her. At first she thought they recognised her as Michishige Sayumi but later, she overheard them saying "Isn't that Suzannu?" but they later concluded that Sayu was just a normal passenger because they concluded that Suzannu isn't the type to take public trains (Suzannu is very popular and possibly rich)

By the way, this is Suzannu.

Now for our soon-to-be 20 adult (?) Reina! Just like the concerts in Shizuoka, they sang a birthday song together but this time, it's for Reina. The encores were changed to Reina-calls and the whole hall was filled with blue light sticks. There was a double encore for the evening concert where Reina came out after the second Reina-call. Did you know...Reina actually likes injections? Okay that was random, anyway, during the double encore...

Reina : There is something I want to say. This is probably the last time I'll meet everyone as a 19-year-old Reina. Even though so, please stop with those "Because she's turning 20, I'm going to stop supporting her" thoughts. I'm serious. It's only from 19 to 20. Please don't say things like you only want to support those in their teens. I'm serious! If I can, I don't want to turn 20 but since I can't stop it, I'll accept it.

Lol, Reina worries too much. She hopes that (Turning 20) all this is a dream. Sayu and Gaki-san then insisted for her to accept reality.

Coming to fan services, Sayu hugged Aichan during Aruiteru and kissed Aika during the coupling song medley. Also! During the evening concert, the last MC, Junjun used her usual line of asking the fans to dry themselves before going home (So as to not catch a cold) but this time round, she added in a "It's a promise!" After that, Eri teasingly imitated Junjun and went "It's a promise!" Koharu followed up to it and said "It's a promise!" too. What made it even funnier was when the 2 Gokkies played along and added in "It's a promise!" into their last MCs too xD

~Nine smile~ (11/03)

For the afternoon concert, the consultation corner was about eating. Junjun was troubled about controlling her diet. According to Gaki-san, Junjun ate 2 dango by herself yesterday. For Linlin, as long as the food is tasty, she is okay with eating it. Gaki-san on the other hand is more concious about what she eats and will limit herself. As for our little turtle...

Gaki-san : What about you, Kame?
Eri : Well, that's about this right? (Makes the money sign using her hand)
Gaki-san : Gees, you have been talking about that so much recently, how realistic.

I personally find this money-and-Eri thing funny. It's true that Eri has been talking a lot about money nowadays. On radio shows, during concert MC segments and in Morning Musume DVDs. That's about it for yesterday's concerts, nothing much.

~Nine smile~ (11/01)

I'm keeping this really short because I'm rushing off soon. Just a brief coverage for yesterday's concerts.

During the 1st concert, Sayu happily groped Eri and Junjun, was said to be "groping too much," lol. Another happening was when Reina and Junjun's boards (The smiley faces boards) got mixed up by accident and the two of them only realised during the song performance itself when Reina looked at her own board and thought "Eh? My blue is so dark!" and Junjun went "Eh? My blue is so light!" (Reina's blue is of a lighter shade than Junjun's) They exchanged their boards during the performance and probably because of this small happening, Junjun messed up her lyrics. For the consultation corner, nothing much but the way Eri rephrased her words for Junjun during the consultation corner was pretty funny.

Moving on to the 2nd concert, Eri had a short MC while all the members were on the stage too. I think it's probably a new MC segment because Koharu had one too during the afternoon concert. Koharu's was about going out with Eri for a meal. As for Eri's, apparently Eri was almost late for the bullet train which she was supposed to take to Miyagi for the concert. What happened was that she had somehow forgotten to bring her suitcase along when she left the house. She went home to get her suitcase but that wasn't just it. Again, when she left her house, she realised she had forgotten to take the ticket. She dashed home, grabbed the ticket, and rushed to the station. Luckily, she arrived at the station 5 minutes before the scheduled time for the train to leave. The consultation corner was funny with the fans teasing Gaki-san and Eri's round up. The topic was about falling asleep in the bath tub.

Gaki-san : That's gross, just get out of the tub if you want to sleep.
Fans : Fuuu ~
Gaki-san : Eh? Not that! I meant with her clothes on!
Fans : Fuuu ~
Gaki-san : You guys aren't Koharu so listen to me!
Fans : (lol)
Gaki-san : With her clothes on!!
(...)
Eri : Well...it's humid inside a bath isn't it? So...as long as you're sleeping naked, it's all right!
Fans : Fuuu ~
Eri : Look! Everyone is smiling!
Gaki-san : It's a little like a dirty smile though...
Fans : (lol)

For the last MC, Reina did a nori-tsukkomi which wasn't well received and caused her to somewhat lose confidence and spoke in a very soft voice. The sudden small voice of Reina caused the members to laugh real hard especially Gaki-san.

~Nine smile~ (10/17)

A brief write-up for this week's ~Nine smile~ concert in Shizuoka! Includes details of Gaki-san's birthday surprise that took place backstage before the concert ~

Let's start off with Eri. Eri had this 「茶」 kanji written on her left palm which means tea. Not exactly a random word since Shizuoka is famous for it's tea and they are in Shizuoka after all. During the concert in Gifu, Eri had 「岐阜」 (Gifu) written on her palm too. Looks like its becoming a trend huh? As for Eri's consultation corner, Junjun's trouble was that she wakes up too early and wants to try to sleep more. Something that Eri can't relate to so she gave some sort of incomprehensible advice. During the 2nd concert, the topic was about size and height. The updated height of Eri is now 157.6cm (Profile edited), a just-nice size. Eri's advice to Linlin who was troubled between whether to get shirts which fits her nicely or of a bigger size so that when she grows, she will still be able to wear it is to buy both the correct size and the bigger size ^^;

From the ending talk for the 2nd concert
Eri : During the song performances, all the fans were united as one and up on the stage, we were united as one too and when we mix both the fans' power and our power together, I felt a great power.
Gaki-san : What was that?

Oh yes, Koharu has got this new gag thing going on. Normally she will go "Yay yay!" during a concert but now she will say "Yoroshi" and the fans will follow-up to it and say "chuusu~" Its suppose to mean "Yoroshiku" just that its the Koharu version so don't be surprise if you hear it somewhere.

Now for Gaki-san's birthday surprise! Aichan called for the fans to sing a birthday song together with Morning Musume during the 1st MC segment which of course, Gaki-san had no idea about it. Also, the fans did Gaki-san calls for the 2 encores and held up their green light-sticks. FYI, there is a similar plan for the concert in Fukuoka, Reina's home-town. Anyway, before the concert, Aichan, Gaki-san and Eri had to do a commentary. Just as Gaki-san was about to leave after the commentary to prepare for the concert, Aichan grabbed onto her tail (Their 1st costume has got a tail) and wouldn't let go. Gaki-san thought "You like me that much eh?" at that moment. Aichan then told her that they were asked to go for a meeting. Naturally, Gaki-san thought she was about to be scolded or something however, it was a birthday surprise for her and a cake was brought out. They took a picture together as a round-up for the small celebration. Aika gave Gaki-san an early birthday present which was an accessory yesterday and Gaki-san had it on during the concert itself. Not too sure about other members since Gaki-san didn't say anything about it.

Tomorrow's FIVE STARS Monday will air at 24:00 of October 19 which also means it's 00:00 of October 20, Gaki-san's birthday. I'm looking forward to it. The last time Gaki-Kame celebrated Gaki-san's birthday on a radio show was in 2007 during an episode of FM Fuji Gaki-Kame radio show. You can find the transcript for that episode here. ~Nine smile~ (10/11)

Just a quick translation of Eri's MC segment for today's concerts. For the afternoon concert, the girls talked about sleeveless outfits. Eri's reply to the problem that was brought up by Linlin was "Since we're cute, if we were to feel cold when wearing a sleeveless outfit, people will lend us their coats." Even if she was joking, Eri needs to know that she was so damn right.

Now for the evening concert, the topic was about making wrong phone calls. The 4 girls have different ways of handling such situations and our little turtle's way of handling was...Gaki-Kame acted it out, so lets do it in dialogues.

Eri : *Ring ring* Hello? Is Itagaki-san in?
Gaki-san : Huh? This is Niigaki...May I know who you're looking for?
Eri : I'm not going to tell you ~ Jan ♪ *Click*

The exact words that Eri said in Japanese was "Oshiete agenai yo, jan" which reminds us of this commercial. That's about it for today's concerts. Good night, people.

~Nine smile~ (09/26-10/04)

New goods have been added to Morning Musume Concert Tour 2009 Fall ~Nine smile~ goods list. The microfibre towels are finally up and there is a part-2 T-shirt for this tour. Unfortunately, the towels don't look tempting to me even though Eri has got an awesome smile there. The part-2 T-shirt looks pretty good. I'll probably get it if I happen to see a suitable one on Yahoo JAPAN auctions.

I've been reading the fan reports for this concert tour just that I don't have the time to write about them. I'm too lazy to go hunting for the reports again so I'll just do a brief one based on whatever that I can remember. I have a horrible memory though....

Starting off with Reina. During one of the concerts around 2-3 weeks ago, Reina was wearing Gaki-san's shoes when she performed "Kimagure Princess." This episode was not as complicating as Rokkies' shoe incident of course. According to Reina, she did realise she was wearing Gaki-san's and went around looking for Gaki-san to get her shoes back but there was no time left till their next performance so the staffs just shoved Reina out. Luckily Reina and Gaki-san are of similar sizes so no one's shoes flew neither did anyone get a sore feet.

Next, Gaki-san! The ever-responsible Gaki-san made a grammar mistake in a MC segment which can be considered rare especially when that line is repeated over and over again every concert (It was the coupling album announcement). Her mistake brought smiles to fans' faces, matching the title of the concert tour well. I'd love to see that moment.

Now for leader Aichan! During one of the MC segments, when the fans kept going "Fu ~" non-stop, Aichan got irritated and went "SHHH!" Gaki-san then reacted with a "Aichan is scary ~" It sounded like it was pretty fun and an Aichan fan even wrote that he wants to hear Aichan's "SHHH!" again. Also, although it has became like some sort of regularity, I'm just going to say it again. Aichan fumbled with her words quite a bit for this concert tour and messed up her lines for the MC segments but again, its her charm point so who cares? Its a plus for us.

Moving on to the MC segments. The Sayumi-Reina MC is really entertaining with Reina sabotaging Sayu and Sayu shooting her poison at Reina. Both of them readily follows up to one another allowing the MC to flow smoothly and enjoyably. Oh yes, every time the fans go "Ehhh ~" at Reina, it'll piss Reina off and she sounds adorable when trying to make the fans stop doing that.

Now to the messed-up MC segment, Eri's consultation corner. As I've said before, in this corner, Junjun and Linlin will ask Eri for advices and from there, Eri has to try make the fans smile through her talks. Recently, Eri has been hosting it in a very forceful manner and will go "Aren't they (Fans) smiling ~ ?" when the fans are not smiling ^^; She did that because for this corner, she is suppose to end it with all the fans smiling. Apart from that, there are also times whereby Eri can make the fans laugh out loud with some of her small talks. Also, during last week's concert, Eri made a small mistake when she called Linlin Junjun. She quickly corrected herself as though nothing has happened but the fans went "Ehhh ~" According to fan reports, Eri had a shy expression which was amazingly cute at that very moment as she tried to make up an excuse for herself.

Before I stop, I remember saying that Aichan went to a male toilet in my previous ~Nine smile~ concert. This was what happened. Reina was lying on the sofa that was outside the toilet (Sayu commented that Reina is treating the backstage like her house) and Aichan walked towards her with a "What's up?" before going into the male toilet. Moments later, Reina who was outside the toilet all the while saw Aichan running out shortly after letting out a small scream. Unfortunately for Aichan, there was a male staff in the toilet ^^;

That's about it for now I guess. I'm doing it by batch instead of a post for each concert due to some selfish reasons so please excuse me for that.

~Nine smile~ (09/19-09/23)

Just going to talk about the MC segments for Morning Musume Concert Tour 2009 Fall ~Nine smile~. Basically, the focus is on 6th generation...or at least I think it is.

For the consultation corner (Niigaki Risa, Kamei Eri, Junjun and Linlin), Eri is the host for the segment. Junjun and Linlin are the ones seeking for solutions to their problems while Gaki-san is there as a tsukkomi and to somewhat help Eri out. The main objective of the corner isn't exactly to solve the 2 members' problems. It is for Eri to make the fans smile by giving a funny/sophisticated advices. The corner usually ends an "Ehhh~" from the fans followed by a "They are starting to smile~" from Eri. Isn't the most entertaining MC ever, but I do love the way Eri is hosting it in the Eririn-manner, giving amusing answers, and escaping from answering when she doesn't know how to give a solution to the 2 members' problems.

Meanwhile, the other MC segment is hosted by the other 2 Rokkies (Michishige Sayumi and Tanaka Reina). Reina will start off the segment with a question every time. The 2 girls will then talk about it like the way they do on their radio shows. When Rokkies come together, hilarity ensues. An absolutely fun segment with Sayu interrupting Reina's talks breaking her trail of thoughts. My favourite is the MC on the 23rd when Reina was bullied (Not exactly) by Sayu and the fans. I swear I'm not a sadist. But it was extremely funny when Sayu teased Reina and Reina reacted in an adorable way.

Here's some random details from the MC segments
● Eri keeps talking about money nowadays.
● Apparently Aichan, Gaki-san and Sayu are night people while Eri and Reina are probably be fast asleep by 2AM.
● Aichan entered a male toilet and...I'll leave that to your imagination.
● Reina asking the fans to not "Ehh~" her. She can't feel the happiness in being Ehh~'d by the fans because she is not Eri.
● Sayu kneeling down, trying to convince Reina to give her a computer.
● Eri gets Ehh~'d, Reina gets Fuu~'d!

Something unrelated to the MC segments...I was listening to the microphone recordings this afternoon and was amazed by how Aichan continued singing so confidently even after making a mistake in the lyrics. At least the mistake she made wasn't exactly a very big one but it did change the meaning of the lyrics. It didn't sound ridiculous though. She sang "Yasashii kareshi" (Kind boyfriend) as "Mainchi kareshi" (Everyday boyfriend) in this mic recording. The mic recording ended with a "I messed up the lyrics, (lol)" from Aichan. Professional as always.

Nine smile (090919) - Fan reports (Eri's mistakes and more!)

Not Nine Smile's photosets though. These are Morning Musume's 2010 calender photosets.

According to some fans, yesterday, while the announcement for Koharu to graduate was being made, Eri had teary eyes. Guess it must be really painful for the 5th and 6th generation since Koharu is their 1st junior to go especially for Sayu, who was Koharu's educator. Lets leave that for now and move on to the concert itself.

So, yesterday the fans got to watch "Kimagure Princess" performance for the very first time. "Kimagure Princess" lead vocalists are indeed Aichan and Eri. In fact, during the song performance, Eri was dancing and singing right in the centre. Watching Eri stand in the centre, a fan was so happy that he cried. Other fans wrote on their blogs that they are glad that Eri's hard work had paid off. As for the expressions for the song, as usual, our little turtle melted the fans' hearts with her adult-like expressions.

As for the return of "Haru Beautiful Everyday", moved by the performance, the fan cried again. After not having to hear Eri sing "Suki yo" (I love you), a fan was totally satisfied with the performance. The costume for "Haru Beautiful Everyday" is said to be very cute. I'm looking forward to the pictures!

Moving on to "Aruiteru", for the 1st half of it, Sayu performed the song alone. The members were to joined her halfway through the performance. However, our little turtle messed up her timing and went on stage when it wasn't even her turn ^^; Eri then returned to the backstage as though nothing had happened but obviously lots of fans saw it (Quite a number reported on this incident). Hees, looks like all 6th generation has a timing problem eh? If only this was included in the DVD...ah, but that's impossible. It sounds really funny though, from the way the fans reported about the matter.

"Sakura Mankai" was performed too and the group consists of mainly the 3 Sakura Gumi members (Takahashi Ai, Niigaki Risa and Kamei Eri) with the addition of Aika and Linlin. A vocally strong group. Eri had a very sexy expression when singing and fans were totally blown away. I personally like the returns of Sakura Gumi and Otome Gumi in Morning Musume concerts. It has been sometime since the last time the two groups' songs were performed in a Morning Musume concert. If you're worried about Otome Gumi because they seem vocally weak, fan reports said that their performance was very enjoyable, so stop worrying! (:

During the coupling/with songs medley, Eri certainly got hyped up and gave her best smile, as usual. Looks like we have got to look out for Eri's expressions. Lots of talk about her expressions this time round. I personally like this medley since I had never expected "Bonkyu! Bonkyu! BOMB Girl" to be performed again. Also, I love "Handmade City". Eri is awesome in that song and Gaki-san's outstanding vocals can be heard clearly in it (Re-watch Morning Musume Concert Tour 2007 Autumn to get what I mean).

Here's one more happening. Somewhere during "Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari" performance, Eri messed up her dance choreography. Eri fans who had their eyes fixed on her caught that moment. Eri gave an embarrassed smile after that mistake. Seems like Eri must have been very nervous for the first concert. It isn't like her to make so many mistakes. But heh, since the mistakes she made sound as adorable as Eri (lol), its of course forgiven!

That's about it for concert. Another thing would be that Eri's younger sister went to the concert yesterday. The fan who saw Eri's sister had met her in concerts several times. He had a short conversation with her about Tomodachi Collection yesterday (Refer to this translation to know what about the Tomodachi Collection). Apparently Eri's little sister is still crazy over the game.

Here's my short personal review after listening to Eri's microphone recording for yesterday's "Kimagure Princess" performance. Her first line, "Samishii otome kokoro wo" was very sweet and sounded like an otome (Young lady) indeed. I love the change between her "Kuchibiru" and "wa~" for the "Wagamama de iijanai kuchiburi wa~". Frankly, I didn't expect them to sing the chipmunk lines live. I thought they would just lip-sync for those lines but surprisingly, the girls sang them live and did pretty well. For Eri, her chipmunk line is the 1st line of the 2nd verse, "Kimagure bijin wa nayameru ohime, yoru naka ni nattara shikushikushiteru jan~" Again, I like the switch between "Shiteru" and "jan~". My favourite is still "Ii janai" of course. Eri's vibrato for that line is fantastic. Another favourite moment would be the way Eri sang the "ni~~" for the "Utsukushiku kagayaki na hoshi no you ni" line. Overall, I'll give Eri a 8/10. Still lots of room for improvement, but she certainly proved that she was ready to take up more lines all this while. Personally, I don't really pay much attention to the quantity of lines. Quality of lines matter more but...with more lines, Eri gets more opportunities to display her ability...so I guess it matters after all ^^; Oh yes, I'm giving her 5 stars for the 2 adorable pants she gave after the performance ended. She sounded so cute when panting! (Okay, everything she does is cute to me) We don't hear her panting often, so its a rare moment :P

The set list was really like what all the girls said on their ameba shows and radio shows. It was very surprising and the songs that I didn't expect to be performed were included in the set list. I love the comebacks of songs like "Genki +", "Bonkyu! Bonkyu! BOMB Girl", "Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari" and of course, "Haru Beautiful Everyday". Very fresh, unlike the past set lists. Looks like its going to yet another great concert tour! (:

Only sad thing is, Kusumi Koharu will be graduating. Not a super big fan of Koharu (I love her though), but I do feel the sadness in it since she is the first member to graduate from Morning Musume after I have entered Morning Musume fandom. The energetic and miracle girl of Morning Musume graduating. We can't stop it from happening, but I do hope she enjoys herself to the maximum for this concert tour since it will be her last. Guess there will be no more KohaEri promotions for their singles after this autumn huh? *Sigh*

So anyway, Hello! Project 2010 Winter concert is titled "Hello! Project 2010 Winter Uta Chou Fuugetsu ~Mobekimasu!~" However, Koharu will not be participating in it. (Source)

Took a look at the goods list earlier on while waiting for the 2ch wotas to update the set list. Wonder why there's no microfibre towel this time round. I still can't decide what to get...Getting all Eri's solo goods will be impossible for now since I'm poor (T.T) Probably going with just Eri's T-shirt and uchiwa? God, I sound like an unfaithful fan.

Ah nevermind, I shall reconsider about it again later. Hopefully the shipping fees won't be too expensive ^^; and that there will be "S" size for the T-shirt! *Prays*
