Rokkies went on the telephone segment of Waratte Iitomo together with Rika and Yossie yesterday. As unexpected guests though. Still glad to see them in moving graphics anyway after not seeing the recent them on TV for some time.

A mischievous looking Eri right at the start of the segment with her hair cutely done up and a mature-looking outfit.

Yossie introduced Rokkies to the audience.
Yossie : We brought these three noisy children along.
Eri has that ring on her index finger ~ She didn't wear it in her recent photo cards other than those that were taken during Kimagure Princess release event so I kind of missed it, I guess.

When Tamori-san brought up Sayu's "I'm the cutest" self-proclamation, Reina talked about Sayu's unglamorous looking face when she sleeps. According to Eri, Sayu looks like her eyes and mouth are open when she sleeps.

Pretty surprising that Tamori-san knows that seniority matters a lot in Morning Musume. The five of them recalled how they had to change their hairdos, accessories and stuff if they happen to have the same hairdo as a senior or wore something that was of the same colour as a senior's and more. Even if they didn't have much time left, they would quickly come out with something that's different from their seniors.

For the one out of hundred people segment, they asked the audience if anyone of them had went for a Morning Musume audition and passed the first round of the audition. Only one out of hundred people in the audience auditioned to become part of Morning Musume and managed to pass the first round so all five of them received a Tamori-san phone strap each.

Eri was making so much sound behind Yossie with all that fiddling of her phone strap when Yossie was trying to talk to Mikitty over the phone ^^;

Recognition for Eri ♥

Waratte Iitomo (2009.12.08)

Earlier today when Takao-san was on Waratte Iitomo, he made a call to Rika and Yossie to invite them on the Waratte Iitomo tomorrow, breaking the "Old man guests" chain. Shortly after Yossie introduced herself, Rokkies started shouting in the background. After Tamori-san asked who were the girls in the background, Yossie passed the phone to the 6th generation members to introduce themselves. Right after they introduced themselves, they passed the phone back to Yossie. So it was like,

Eri : I'm Kamei Eri!
Sayu : I'm Michishige Sayumi!
Reina : I'm Tanaka Reina! Changing back ~
Tamori : Okay.
Yossie : That was the three loud ones.
Tamori : Oh, there wasn't that many of them in the background?

Considering how noisy the girls were earlier on in the background, its pretty surprisingly that there were only the three of them. Anyway, here's a report from Natalie regarding the phone call.

Tamori : Are both of you free for tomorrow's Iitomo?
Yossie : Yes please.
Tamori : So will you both come tomorrow?
All 5 of them : Iitomo! (No problem!)

Makes me wonder why Rokkies were even with Rika and Yossie in the first place. How I wish Rika and Yossie will call Rokkies on the show after their turn, sigh.

FYI, the last time a current Morning Musume member was on Waratte Iitomo was in July. Sayu was on the show together with Maichan and four OG members.

Age Stock'09 (Updated : Photo added)

Age Stock'09 event was held at Budoukan yesterday. All the members of Morning Musume with the exception of Eri were guests for the event. No information was given about why Eri was absent but Eri played the role of a reporter in the video that was played on the monitor. Even though Eri herself wasn't present, she was the "main character."

For the video, it was probably taken on November 13 since the outfit Eri wore matches the Eri photos posted in this blog post. Translation for the Eri-related parts of the post :

Today, we had a task to do coverage for "JCI x Age Stock'09" and you know what? Kamei Eri-chan from Morning Musume and the staffs of Age came.

Together with 12 other kind souls, Eri helped in picking up of the trash on the street in the cold weather. Coming back to the event yesterday, after Kimagure Princess started playing, the 8 member who were in white outfits went onto the stage. After their introductions, Aichan started off the corner. From there, the video of Eri was played on the monitor. Brought back the memories of Elizabeth Kyamei.

In the video, as Eri tried lifting up a bucket of 15 litres of water, she let out a "That's heavy! My back..." Well...it's only normal, although out little turtle is one adorable body-builder.

Just kidding. Eri then popped a question about what people in Honduras drinks when they have a cold. Apparently, its cola.

Next up was some sort of Mongolia fortune telling tradition. From an episode of Aho-KameShige corner, we got to know that Eri doesn't have the best luck ever since she picked an extremely bad oracle. Unsurprisingly, this one was nowhere better. Eri received a "There'll be obstacles in your future." The staffs who were with her at that time were trying really hard to not laugh out loud. Eri then went "Hey, you guys are laughing too much!"

Putting the bad fortune aside, Eri got a chance to eat Chè, a Vietnam dessert. She commented that it was sweet. And here's the second question from Eri! "What is the ingredient used for Chè?" Koharu and Aika were asked to answer the question. Koharu didn't make a guess while Aika answered with "corns." The correct answer was beans. The 8 members reacted with a "That's unexpected ~"

Eri then visited a garden and met the members of Green Bird (Refer to the blog post translated on the top). She put on the Green Bird uniform and joined in the cleaning up of the streets in front of Jingu Stadium. With a pair of tongs in hands, Eri started picking up all the trash with the rest of the staffs. Her first trash picked up was this packing tape that was stuck onto the ground. After trying really hard to pull it out using the tongs, Eri succeeded and had a small celebration.

Eri : Yay, I pulled it out! The first trash, a packing tape!

Obviously not used to the job, Eri couldn't seem to be able to fill up her trash bag. She asked the rest of the staffs about how much trash they had in their trash bags and all of them had lots of garbage in it.

Eri : Wow! Everyone picked up so much!

Just like a little kid ♥ Eri returned to picking up of trash. She later asked if the Green Bird members had found big items during such cleaning up programs. Apparently, they do pick up things like bowling balls and guitars. The third question was regarding the members of Green Bird. Aichan and Sayu were asked to answer but of course weren't able to come up with the correct answer.

Next venue was to the Japan Green Bird association. After the fourth question, it marked the end of Eri's coverage trip. The rest of the members rounded up by giving short views of the quiz given by Eri in the video before leaving. That's all for it for Morning Musume-related parts. Good job, Eri!

Very unique introductions. FYI, the last time Eri and Aika were on Konya mo Usachan Peace, they did a similar introduction.

November 22, Usachan Peace Day! Unfortunately, Sayu was not one of the hosts this week. Anyway, this was the fourth Monthly Special. All 9 members have been on the show at least once. This week's hosts asked which episode was interesting and conveniently concluded that the episodes with them as hosts were the best. Eri reasoned that its because they have an entertainer with a fake broken Japanese ability. Eri teamed up with Aika again and went "Is she an idol?" They were referring to Junjun. No hard feelings, just that Eri finds Junjun funny.

November 22 may be Usachan Peace Day but Eri came prepared with another "What day is today?" special. Remember? Eri used to do a "What day is today?" MC segment together with other 6th generation members during Morning Musume Concert Tour 2008 Spring. However, "just as the words were right up her throat," Eri had forgotten what she wanted to say. After some time, Eri finally remembered and according to her, yesterday was Good Couple Day. If you ask why, Good Couple is Ii Fuufu in Japanese and yesterday was 11/22. The double "i" in Good Couple is taken from the double 1s (ichi) while the double "fu" is taken from the double 2s (Futari).

Junjun : You're stumbling on the greeting?
Eri : Hey, lets read it together all right?
FYI, on radio shows, greetings and song titles are normally read out by the whole group of girls who are present instead of one person and Eri didn't stumble on her words there. She only stopped because the other two girls weren't following.

Eri stumbled on her words and commented that "I'm becoming like our leader, Takahashi Ai...I wonder if its okay..." They did the corner's title call together and as expected, these three weren't in sync. Eri explained that the first segment was not a corner for reasons why people like Morning Musume because if compliments such as "Kame-chan is cute" comes in...before she finished her sentence, Aika added in a "Because if we receive such opinions, Mitsui Aika will be very shy and so..." Junjun's response to that sort of narcissism? "These two people really love themselves a lot."

As Junjun struggled to read out the first mail, after she read from the mail about Eri's lame gags, Aika said "Hear, you're being labelled as lame ~" and Eri replied with a "Shut up!" Funny Eri-Aika interaction. Junjun revealed that after the fans "Ehhhh ~" Eri, Eri will be in a strange mode, as though she's drunk.

A listeners wrote "Eri looks like she's bad at handling mornings" (Meaning she can't be fully energetic in the morning) Junjun's response to that, "It's not "looks like" she IS bad at handling them," even though she is in MORNING Musume. Eri mentioned that she feels that the agency should check with the girls during the audition and recruit only those who could wake up early. The reason for this is to live up to the group's name. Our little turtle certainly worked very hard in waking up in the mornings for her job!

When Aika speaks to her mother over the phone, her voice switches to a very low-pitched voice. When Eri first heard her talking over the phone with her mother, she was surprised by her voice and wondered how careful Aika had been to not show that side of her voice to the Morning Musume members.

As Eri was moving on to the next mail, Junjun asked her "Kamei-san, can you read Kanjis?" lol. According to Junjun, Eri has been using her catchphrase of "Sou nan da yo, Kame nan da yo" all this while in their dressing rooms.

Talking about Junjun's broken Japanese, Eri and Aika asked her if she was faking some of her broken Japanese. Junjun replied that this whole broken Japanese thing is natural. As Junjun said natural (天然), she read the "天" (Ten) kanji in Chinese and said "Tian" instead. Do pay attention to the non-stop correcting of Junjun's Japanese throughout the whole show by Aika and Eri's funny comments to those mistakes.

Morning Musume - Aki Urara

Even before Aika finished reading out a mail, Eri knew the mail was referring to her because it said "The one who always slips during MC segments." The slip in this mail isn't referring to the physical one. Aika and Junjun suggested Eri to use the "Ari Eririn" phrase written by the listener as her catchphrase but Eri refused and explained that she belongs to the shier group of people and admires people like Reina when they are able to say catchphrases like "OtsukaReina!" loudly.

A mail from Orange #6 (A listener who sends in mails practically on every single show any Morning Musume member is on) complimented Eri's dance ability, singing ability, looks as well as her soft-hearted nature. Junjun tried to continue the discussion but the obviously embarrassed Eri quickly moved on to the next suggestion by Orange #6. The three girls started discussing about whose fan Orange #6 is (FYI, members like Aichan, Gaki-san, Eri and Sayu can recognise this radio name). Aika felt that he is Eri's fan because his name has an "Orange" in it, which is Eri's theme colour. Eri understood her reasoning but didn't feel the same way. Curious about whose fan Orange #6 is, the girls asked him to recognise himself as Orange #6 during handshake events and such and tell them he's a fan of which member.

Amusing mistake by Junjun for reading "Gaki-san" as "Khaki-san." After Junjun finished struggling with reading out of the mail filled with many mistakes, Eri asked Aika to read it instead, lol. Eri and Aika were praising Gaki-san for her responsibility and good follow-ups.

When the girls first listened to the song, they were surprised by how different it was from the past few singles which were more on the cool side. Its not exactly a funky song, neither is it a cool song.

A listener asked Eri how did she make such a great improvement in her dances out of blue. Junjun's response to that? "I thought Kamei-san's dance has been great all the while..." Eri was a little embarrassed because of the compliments. Our little turtle tried to escape and move on to the next mail but the other two girls didn't allow her to. Eri didn't really notice any improvement in her dances though since she's seeing it every now and then. Her answer to the listener's question was that because she loves dancing since young and wants to find a sort of way of dancing that shows that its Kamei Eri's dance, in simpler words, she wanted to be able to dance in a way where no one else can in Morning Musume. With that in mind, she's practising very hard for her dances. FYI, on her Dokyu dance documentary, Eri sought advice from the dance teacher on how to make her dance stand out after she realised that her family and friends couldn't recognise where Kamei Eri was when she was on the stage with many other members.

Not long ago, before a concert, the 8th generation members completed their preparations and were goofing around in a room with the DVD camera. At that moment, Junjun could feel the unity of the 8th generation. Eri heard that eight in Chinese is a very good number. Junjun didn't explain to her why its good on the show though. For anyone who is interested, eight in Chinese has the pronunciation of "ba" which sounds like "fa" which means prosper.

The girls' dance lessons are normally three hours each session. They will spend the three hours trying their best to memorise the choreography then from there, they will spent the next few hours perfecting their memorisation of the choreography. A few days later, they will have a dance lesson on performing the song already. In conclusion, the girls spend around 6 hours to remember one dance choreography. All of them are afraid of making their dance teachers angry so everyone's trying hard to memorise the choreographies properly. The three girls continue discussing about how nervous they are during the dance lessons and dance recordings to the extent that they think "If I make a mistake, I'm dead, my life is over." Lol.

Eri is sleep any time. She said that if the director asked her to sleep at that very moment, she would fall asleep immediately. Junjun added on that in the mornings, Eri can walk up to Junjun and greet Junjun with her eyes closed. Eri's reason for why she's always so sleepy, "Because I'm Kamei Eri." Both Aika and Junjun agreed that this character of Eri makes her cute.

Both Eri and Junjun enjoyed themselves. Meanwhile, for the 16-year-old Aika, she did her very best in getting the two adults in their twenties to host the show sensibly.

Aika did an impersonation of I-don't-know-who neither did Eri and Junjun get it. Aika reasoned that she didn't practise it beforehand and Eri said that its just an excuse, lol. Junjun followed up to it and said "Aika makes up excuses too huh..." which earned her a "Shut up" from Aika, double lol.

When the girls were told that Koharu would be graduating, since graduations are suppose to be happy events, Aika clapped a little but she realised no one clapped so she stopped immediately. As Eri cried after hearing the news, Koharu gave her a Why-are-you-crying? look. Like Aika, to Koharu, graduation is a happy event. Apparently, Koharu promised to go to every single Morning Musume concert tour after she graduates. All the three girls are rooting for Koharu.

Both the girls agreed that Reina is the most flashy in terms of fashion.

The male host asked them how it's like to be in Morning Musume. Aichan's reply, "It's like having club activities," and Linlin's reply, "It's like being a school." Unlike people's image of girls coming together and having quarrels, all of them get along pretty well. When it's time to work, they'll work.

November 11! Tanaka Reina's birthday! Unfortunately, the girls had different work assignments on November 11 and were unable to gather together so they celebrated Reina's birthday in advance on November 10. They gave her her presents on that day. Apparently Linlin's present was something that has leopard prints because she knows Reina loves leopard prints. The male host went "Is she (Reina) as old lady?" Linlin defended Reina by saying Reina is Yankee-like xD Aichan did a better job as she explained to the hosts about Reina's fashion taste.

If Aichan were to be a princess, her ideal prince will be one of those princes in white tights, riding on a horse. If Linlin were to be a princess, her ideal prince will be a good and kind man. She does like the idea of a prince riding on a horse though.

Aichan's impression of Linlin, "A cute junior." Linlin is like the mood-maker of Morning Musume. The host said Linlin looks like those who brightens up the atmosphere and makes things fun. She used a word that Linlin didn't understand so Aichan's way of explaining it to Linlin..."It means something good."

Linlin's impression of Aichan, "A wonderful leader." Shortly after Linlin joined Morning Musume, there was a period of time whereby she felt depressed. Thanks to Aichan who stood by her, Linlin is who she is today (She said this herself). She added on that even though Aichan fumbles on her words often, when it's time to show her leadership skills, Aichan gives off a leader-aura. To Linlin, Aichan is just like her big sister, someone who she can go to when she is troubled.

The three hosts started the show with short introductions of themselves and Eri introduced herself as the one "in-charge of healing" in Morning Musume. Eri was a little worried but Junjun assured her they would do fine since they have Aika with them, who Eri calls "the smartest member in Morning Musume."

Morning Musume - Nanchatte Renai

As the girls did the title call, they were a little out of sync. Junjun reasoned that because she isn't fluent in Japanese yet. Moving on to the talks. Junjun claimed that she is thankful towards everything everyday. She gave examples like when she gets home and opens the door with her door keys, she'll feel grateful towards the inventor of keys. She mispronounced the word grateful here and was teased a little for it. Another example is when she takes a bath. She uses bath salts and therefore, feels grateful towards the inventor of bath salts.

A listener requested for the three girls to suggest names for his rabbit. He named his rabbit "Sayu" at first but the rabbit didn't get used to it so he changed it to PokePoo (Short form of PokePokePoo, Eri's nickname) However, his sister told him the name sounds like a fool so here he is, looking for a new name for his rabbit. Aika and Junjun were laughing at the listener's sister's comment. Eri had to double check with Aika if his sister was talking about Eri or the name itself, lol. Aika suggested several cute names such as "Candy-chan" and "Peach." Junjun tried to think up of some too.

Junjun : How about "GuruGuru?"
Aika : Oi ~ Where are you going ~
Junjun : "Guru-chan!" Guru sounds cute doesn't it!
Eri : (Ignores Junjun) What should we choose, Mitsui?
Aika : (Ignores Junjun) Hm...what will be good?

Eri : How about Ichigo (Strawberry) or Strawberry?
Aika : That's a long name.
Junjun : Look here!
Eri : Too long? But I've seen pets with that name.
Aika : How about Ichigo-milk-chan?
Eri : Ah, that's cute! ...Although it's long.
Junjun : How about Ichigo-guru-chan?
Aika : Hush!

Junjun insisted for the name to include the word "kuru." (I don't know why, but from some point of time it was changed from "Guru" to "Kuru") After discussion between Eri and Aika (only), they decided on "Mikuru."

Junjun : Hello! I'm here too!
Eri : Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Again, their title call wasn't in sync because Junjun started reading it out too early. Just like last week, the three girls this week are going to make their own linkages between the nine members in Morning Musume. No ugly maps this week because someone criticised me for the one I did last week *Glares* Starting off with Aika's linkages.

FYI, it has been mentioned over and over again that Aichan and Eri shares the same taste when it comes to fashion. Not long ago, when Aichan was on a fashion magazine, she talked about going out to shop for clothes with Eri frequently because they have similar fashion senses. As for Eri's linkage with Gaki-san, she said that she can feel the affection Gaki-san always showers her with. Moving on to the linkage between Eri and Aika, Aika tried to get Eri to change it to "big sister" but she refused. Eri and Junjun started to tease Aika playfully for that old lady matter. By the way, they often call Aika old lady because sometimes Aika's voice seriously makes her sound like one. Now for the rivalry between Eri and Linlin. Both of them crack cold jokes often but Linlin's cold jokes are becoming really funny nowadays and Eri is starting to panic. Last linkage,

Junjun wants to be like Aichan. Aika being in one of her poisonous mode told Junjun "It's impossible" straight away xD Eri on the other hand told Junjun to work hard towards it. As for the linkage between Junjun and Gaki-san, both the two girls agree that they don't know what one another thinks about, they are just like from two different worlds. The linkage between Junjun and Reina, not that Junjun once hated Reina, but Junjun was once afraid of Reina because Reina just has that image. However, recently, they are hanging out more often and Junjun can even go to Reina for advices when she needs them. Junjun-Eri linkage,

Junjun : As for Kamei ERI-san from my point of view...
Eri : (lol) Why must you emphasise it? It makes me nervous.
Junjun : For Kamei ERI-san...I'm going to say something good about you.
Eri : Say it.
Junjun : She is the type who can make me feel secured when she is next to me. I think other people may not understand what I mean but when I'm feeling down and stuff like that, Kamei-san seems to understand me very well.
Eri : (lol)
Junjun : I think that she doesn't understand me in reality though...but she handles the problem as though she understands me.
Eri : You mean it's a pretence?
Junjun : So it's like, even if other people doesn't understand me, as long as Kamei-san is with me, I'll feel secured, because she's here.

Eri : That's kind of annoying.

Junjun loves Sayu. In fact, Sayu was the first senior to ask Junjun out and made her open up to other members but because of the recent talk of the two of them looking too similar to one another, Junjun is having headaches thinking of what to wear, what hairdos to make and such everyday. Aika did another attack there about Junjun despite thinking so hard, she is still doing up ponytails. Eri stopped Aika quickly and they moved on to the next linkage. Last week too, the three girls who hosted the show discussed about Sayu and Junjun looking alike.

When Junjun was informed of Koharu's graduation, she cried.

Junjun : I cried. Why did I cry?
Aika : How do I know?

From there, Junjun concluded that the MC segments with Koharu has strengthened their bonds. FYI, Junjun and Koharu don't talk much out of work nor hang out together.

Morning Musume - Naichau Kamo

Promotion for Morning Musume's 41st single, Kimagure Princess. Junjun gave Eri out when she praised her for being able to remember the promotion script, lol. FYI, for every single, there's a particular speech whereby it's repeated over and over again in their promotions for the single. It's just a sentence or two that rounds up and gives readers, listeners or viewers a brief idea of what the song is like and about. Not too sure who thought up of them, but the one who thought up of the speech for Shoganai Yume Oibito was Gaki-san. As Eri was about to round up the promotion corner, she asked the other two girls if they had anything to add on.

Eri : Do you guys have anything to add on? Like were there any parts in the promotion video where Eri was great?
Junjun : Nope.
Eri : ...No? I see.
Aika : I have some!
Eri : Look! She said she has some! Go ahead! Say it!

Aika didn't talk about Kimagure Princess's promotion video though. She talked about Eri's funny movements in 3,2,1 BREAKIN'OUT. When they were recording those parts where the members were allowed to do whatever they want, Aika could hear the staff who were filming Eri's parts laughing loudly from far. Unfortunately, some of it weren't included in the promotion video.

Morning Musume - Kimagure Princess

Image corners! Around a month ago, listeners were asked to send in their impressions of the girls together with exact numbers.

1. Koharu vs Junjun arguments, all added up together = 200 hours
2. Eri takes 12 minutes to decide on what to eat in a restaurant
3. Aika smiles for 17 hours. She smiles all the while unless she is asleep
4. Eri's sleep duration = 24 hours.
5. Number of bananas Junjun eats a day = 100

Aika didn't know if the listener was trying to say Eri is slow at deciding or fast when he said 12 minutes. Junjun later added on to it saying that the numbers should be swapped and be 21 minutes because she doubts Eri is that fast when it comes to making decisions. Eri on the other hand was wondering why it was 12 minutes and not 10 minutes.

Both Eri and Junjun doesn't agree with Aika smiling for 17 hours though. She may have a cute smile, but Aika doesn't smile much. Aika asked them to stop because it'll shatter the listener's image of her.

Eri was probably reading the katakana one by one so she ended up missing the "ur" in "Tour" and was teased a little for it.

Announcement for next week's hosts,
Eri : Next week's show will be hosted by Niigaki Risa-chan, Michishige Sayumi-chan and Kusumi Koharu-chan. Wow, these three girls have very strong personalities don't they?
Aika : Yeah.
Junjun : Yeah.
Eri : Looks like it'll be fun so please look forward to it!

Unlike what the three hosts predicted last week, Eri was doing most of the hosting and leading job for this episode. Pretty surprising considering that we all thought Eri would be relying on Aika to lead the show. Was a very fun show though, with those teasing between the three girls.

FRIDAY GOES ON (091106)

Like Eri has mentioned, she watches other singers' concert DVDs. She tries to imagine herself as them and enjoys doing that. She loves how the singers have the intensity in their dances. She admires BoA, Matsuura Aya and more. FYI, not long ago in an interview, Eri said that she observes the other artistes' dances from watching their DVDs and improves her dance ability from there.

One of Eri's lines in Kimagure Princess, "Cho ii ero namida," for the "ro" in "ero," she has to roll the r. However, it initially wasn't this way. It was during the recording for the song, after Eri rolled her r by accident while singing, they decided to edit that line.

Eri wants to try living alone. The male host turned down that idea immediately and told her she is still too young for that. Eri insisted that 20 years of experience is enough. Recently, Eri tidied up her messy room. This is probably the 2nd time in history? :P

The 3 girls (Aichan, Reina and Linlin) did linkages between the 9 members of Morning Musume for a particular corner during the radio show. Linlin paired Eri and Sayu together and labelled them as a married couple. Although she initially didn't decide who was the male and who was the female, after Reina asked her, she placed Eri in the male role and Sayu in another reason being Eri is technically older than Sayu.

Reina's linkages were complicating, funny yet realistic. She linked Eri together with Aika. The link is that Aika finds Eri the most frightening member in Morning Musume when she is angry. You can find the translation regarding that matter here. The linkage between Reina and Eri is that they are able to work well together easily. Another linkage that was related to Eri was the link between Gaki-san and Sayu. Reina labelled them "Rivals." Rivals for what you may ask. It's obvious, it's for Eri. Reina thinks that because Gaki-san and Eri are of the same age and Eri and Sayu are very good friends, there may be rivalry between them resulting in a love triangle. To make things easier to understand, here's an ugly map of it.

Another corner was for the girls to read out the reasons listeners had sent in for why they love Morning Musume. As Aichan was explaining about the corner...
Aichan : Things like "Her singing is cool," "Kamei-chan is cute," "Her dance is fantastic!" ...Eh? It's all talking about Kamei-chan!
Reina : Exactly.
Aichan : And also, things like "Kamei-chan is fashionable!"

Well, it's totally okay for such compliments s long as they don't read them in front of Eri. The word "humble" doesn't exist in Eri's dictionary.

Something happened the day before the first concert of ~Nine smile~ that caused Reina to do something reckless. She declared that she won't be turning up for the concert the next day and seriously had no intention of going for the concert. Being one who has quite a number of lines, if Reina didn't turn up, there would be big trouble. That night, Eri, Gaki-san and Junjun sent Reina mails to convince her to go. Sayu's excuse for not sending one is that she believed that Reina would turn up ^^; But frankly, the next day, when she heard about Eri's mail to Reina, she thought she should have done the same. Eri's mail really had a great impact on Reina. She received it at around 2AM, which by right, both Reina and Eri should have been asleep since they are said to be early sleepers. Reina however was awake because she didn't want to go to the concert the next day and spent the night watching variety shows. Eri's mail went "I understand Reina's feelings because we're all humans but I'm just going to say this. Come tomorrow. I want to stand on the same stage as you. Good night."

ON8 (091022) - Aichan, Koharu, Linlin

The girls will normally eat one meal after the evening concerts but as they have to leave the place, they often end up eating while travelling. Whenever Aichan gets some time free before the scheduled time for them to leave, she will attempt to finish her meal quickly leaving whatever she can't finish in time to be eaten when she is in the car. Even though she will be holding on to other stuff, one will definitely catch Aichan holding on to a bowl of soup. Koharu will never do that because she knows it'll spill. Aichan on the other hand is very optimistic and believes she can bring it along without spilling however, every time without fail, she will spill it. Linlin told them there is a positive side to spilling soups and that is, they don't have to use perfumes. The smell of the spilled soup will stay in the room and they will be able to enjoy different flavours everyday, lol. As Eri had mentioned in this Pocket Diary, Aichan spilled her corn soup recently. It got onto her jersey and left a yellow stain.

As they are performing in a concert, the girls have to change their costumes quickly so as to not keep the audience waiting. Their costumes are arranged in such a way that Eri's is next to Linlin's and Linlin's is next to Koharu's. Every time Linlin hurries to change into her costume, she will grab Eri's by accident and when Eri comes along and isn't able to find her costume, she will go to Linlin and check if Linlin had taken her costume by mistake again. Even Koharu has seen it happening several times. Koharu advises Linlin to remember her costume as the set next to Koharu's in order to mix Eri's and her own costumes up again. Aichan gives an even better piece of advice, "Just wait for Eri to put on her costume before you put on yours."

Even before Aichan listened to Kimagure Princess's melody, after reading the lyrics, she had this "Woah, this isn't going to sound like Morning Musume" reaction. Koharu found it similar to Balalaika. Linlin's first impression of the song is interesting. She thought it sounded like those songs played during a bullfight event and even concluded that Tsunku was putting the feel of this year's zodiac, which is cow, into the song.

Morning Musume - Kimagure Princess

During the recording of the promotion videos for Kimagure Princess, they were told that they can just put on expressions that were similar to the ones they made for Nanchatte Renai. The promotion videos were taken in a church. For the dance shot, it was taken in some sort of place that looked like where a priest will be at according to Koharu. The moment they stepped into the room for their recording, Koharu felt like going to the toilet so she excused herself. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single toilet in sight and Koharu had to ran back to their dressing room because she remembered seeing the toilets there. Koharu really hopes that they will install some toilets near that room for the convenience of people.

Now, 1 month after Koharu's graduation announcement, she feels a little weird when the rest of the members have assignments related to the end-of-year programs while she doesn't as she will not be participating in them. Her graduation was decided after much discussion with Tsunku and other staff members so Koharu was not exactly surprised. When the rest of the members were informed of the graduation, Aichan was surprised because she had never expected her junior to go before her. She finally understood how Yossie felt when Konno and Makoto graduated. Aichan hopes that Koharu will try her best in the Koharu-ish way in whatever she does after she graduates from Morning Musume. This is the first time Linlin will be watching a Morning Musume member graduate as part of Morning Musume. She can't picture how it will be like.

The host shared her thoughts about Koharu's graduation and too, hopes that Koharu will try her very best after she graduates. The short talk by the host goes really well with the background song and was really touching. The talk about Koharu's graduation was rounded up with the messages to Koharu filled in by Aichan and Linlin in their survey forms. Aichan's message to Koharu, "I love you," Linlin's message to Koharu, "Kusumi-san, I will love you forever." Simple messages, but lots of memories hidden behind them. Aichan started crying after that.

Ii janai ~ corner. Aichan thinks that most of the members in Morning Musume are generally boke while Koharu thinks that she is a tsukkomi. The other 2 girls reacted with a "No way!' when they heard it. Not much of content, but you guys have to listen to Koharu and Linlin's "Ii janai ~" Yes, the line from Kimagure Princess.

Koharu's new gag was introduced to ON8. Koharu knows it gives a weird atmosphere every time she does it so she requested for the host, Aichan and Linlin to make some noise after she does it. The 3 of them were really kind and did as requested.

Gaki-san : Oh yes, it's Junjun. (Looks at Reina and smiles)

Gaki-san : Sorry Junjun. What should I choose?
Reina : It's kind of difficult to get 1 for her out of the remaining colours...
Gaki-san : Which should I take?
Fujii : All the remaining colours are pretty dull...
Gaki-san : I think Junjun won't like this one (Eliminates the light blue watch)
Reina : Black then?
Gaki-san : Black? Let's go with black? Junjun is one of the oldest members and since she an adult...black should be suitable.

Reina was incredibly cute on this show. Apart from the watches segment, when Reina went to get herself a paper shredder, Fujii picked up a cheap one which is like a scissors and is used manually. Even before she takes a 2nd look, Reina said "I want one that doesn't need strength to shred." Gaki-san was great too with the Gaki-Reina interaction which reminded me a little of Gaki-Kame with Reina in Eri's role but she wasn't as foolish as our little turtle. Recommended watching!
