Some time ago, Aichan bought some sweets for all the members. As Reina had some assignments to complete first, she told Aichan to pass her a particular type of sweet which she loves later on when she is free. After she had completed her tasks and returned to the dressing room, Aichan told her to hurry over to grab her sweets before Junjun eats them all. However, when Reina was looking for the sweets, Junjun told her they had already finished the sweets. There was nothing much Reina could do about that so she returned to her seat but when she looked over at Junjun, she saw her holding onto something in her palm. Reina realised that it was the sweet that she had wanted to eat. Its not that Reina is being petty over a few sweets, but because, just recently, Junjun and her are becoming pretty close and Reina is starting to trust Junjun. This incident was a shock to Reina.

Morning Musume - Nanchatte Renai ♪

Although Reina has not been talking about Yakiniku and chocolate nowadays, it does not mean that they are no longer her favourite foods. They are still #1 when it comes to her favourite foods. On this episode of FIVE STARS Wednesday, Reina had expressed her love for beans but now, she no longer likes it. This is not the only food that was a short-term boom though. There was once a squid boom in Morning Musume but it ended shortly after a week.

Reina likes the "Ah nande nandarou watashi, sunao ni amaerarenai, okaasan ni denwa ga shitai ah" lyrics in "Nanchatte Renai". At first, she didn't like the idea of having a "okaasan ni denwa ga shitai" (I want to call mother) as she didn't understand why its there but during her trip to LA, Reina felt a little homesick and wanted to call her mother, she then understood the lyrics. As for the dance moves, Reina personally thinks she is the best in Morning Musume when it comes to the dance move where they will all hold on to their skirts and kind of like, move their hands forward and backwards.

There isn't any junior that can make Reina feel "Ah, its good to have this junior." Reina, who always does things as she likes, when she is with her seniors like Aichan and Gaki-san, the 2 will follow-up with whatever she says (Like helping her to edit her words so that it don't sound harsh and such) but if she were with her juniors, the juniors will not do so. Since they are of no use to her, they are more like a burden.

As Morning Musume is a pretty big group, whenever they prepare for a certain event, they are split into 2 groups. The group that needs to turn up earlier for their make-up will usually be the juniors. However, for Reina's case, she is sometimes arranged to be in the early group and sometimes in the later group because she is the 5th member down the chart in terms of age and seniority (Morning Musume has 9 members, so she's right in the middle)

Even though Reina is crazy over tongue twisters, she is not able to recite them well. She had prepared some tongue twisters beforehand for her to recite on the show (Recite them 3 times in a row)

Note : OnDiet's hearing sucks. So please get the correct romanji of the tongue twisters by yourself if you want to try them.

Pretty obvious from the voice and the bad timing of Eri, this week, Eri took up the role of the main host. Yes, Gaki-kame switched their roles and Eri is going to get a taste of her own medicine. Gaki-san was prepared to behave in a nonsensical way, just like what she had said in one of the "Hello! Chanpuru" concert MCs.

Apparently Eri had been avoiding Gaki-san's eyes and had just kept her eyes on her script all this while.

K : Hehe.

Gaki-san loves compliments like "Good job!" after she successfully accomplishes something. Also, when she felt very happy when she was told "I like Niigaki-san's dances" by Chinami and "I like Nanchatte Renai" by Risako. However, she dislikes it when people click their tongues or tell her "Aren't you eating too much?" Meanwhile for Eri, she likes it when people tells her she isn't funny because it meant that that person is that close to Eri that he/she actually dares to make such a straight-forward comment.

Eri described her mom as a pro when it comes to irritating people. In fact, her mom knows how to annoy Eri very well. Eri gave an example of her giving her mom a call, asking her mom to accompany her to the convenience store only to receive "But I'm already in the bath" as a reply. Inside Eri's head, she thought, "You mean you can't go anywhere else because you are in the bath?" Eri does agree that you can't go anywhere else when you are in the bath but since she is her mother, if she refuses to accompany Eri to the convenience store, it'll be like "So you're asking me to go to the convenience store alone?" for Eri.

A listener had requested for Gaki-kame to teach him how a panda sounds like.
G : Kame knows how!
K : Huh?
G : Kame knows how. So, Kame please let us hear how a panda sounds like.
K : Ouu~ (Imitating a panda's voice)
(Silence)

A listener sent in asking the girls if they prefer their left or right more. Same things go for front or back and up or down.
K : I prefer my right.
G : Why?
K : Because I'm a right-hander (lol)
G : (lol)

K : Because I tend to look upwards (lol)

The girls received bubble wraps from the director earlier on. Instead of the usual circular bubble, Gaki-san's came in the shape of a Mickey's head while Eri's were heart-shapes. The moment Eri got her hands on it she started popping the bubbles. That's all right, since its hers anyway. However, when Gaki-san left to get herself a pen, she turned back to check on Eri only to find Eri pressing on Gaki-san's bubble wrap. Gaki-san screamed at her for her to stop because Gaki-san really likes the mickey mouse shaped bubble wrap. Fortunately, she managed to stop Eri before anymore damage could be done. Only one unfortunate mickey got its head stomped (popped) by our little turtle. With that, Gaki-san gave 5 stars to the bubble wrap!

Eri : Hm? (Moves her ear nearer to the wota)

(Wota leaned forward to Eri and Eri moved closer to him)

(Eri turned shy)

(The wota was a little exhausted from all the looping)

[08/15] Rokkies handshake event.

Rokkies had their "Nanchatte Renai" handshake event yesterday so here goes a fan story that caught my attention.

Fan A was troubled as she lined up for the handshake because she had no idea what to say. As she shook Eri's hand,
Eri : OOO-chan~
Fan A : Huh? Eh? How do you know my...(name)
Fan A was really surprised and later found out that her friend who was in front of her had told Eri to address Fan A that way and Eri played along xD But of course, Fan A was already satisfied. Who wouldn't? How many people get such an opportunity? Not many.

Well, things like that happens often during such events. Its fun to read them and to be envious of them.

FUJIWARA no Arigatai Omoee!! (090815)

Fujimon then corrected Eri's pose of "Chorisu" (→ No one knows it better than him anyway :P)


After the short "Nanchatte Renai" PV was played, Sayu had a dejected look on her because they stopped the PV before right before her solo shot (Watch how Eri laughed at her xD)
FUJIWARA pointed out that they didn't catch any Sayu shots in the PV leading to the talk about having too little solo parts. Sayu requested for Fujimon to complain to Tsunku about it ^^; Upon hearing that, Junjun joined in and requested for Fujimon to do the same for her. Eri later joined in too and...

FUJIWARA : You appeared on the screen just now!
Eri : If we go into details, the part played earlier on was the second part of the song. Without a part in the first part of the song, you won't get to sing during a TV performance (B'cos the TV performances are usually cut short and most of the lines are from the first part)

By the way, in the above cap (You can click to enlarge it) You can get a view of the drawing of FUJIWARA by the 3 of them. No idea who drew what, but you can see Eri's trademark turtle on the drawing ~

When entering the room, Eri failed to estimate correctly the height of her mini hat and knocked it against the side of the door accidentally.


Host : You guys are shining~
Eri : Yes, I'm told that often.
Host : Waaah! How annoying.

Host : That irritated me a little.
Eri : I'm told that often too.


The punishment for the host who had failed the challenge of naming all Morning Musume's singles correctly was to play a girl who wants to pass a Morning Musume audition. As the host tried to use her age as an excuse...
Eri : How old are you?
Host : Erm...its kind of embarrassing. I'm 23 years old.
Koharu : That is young!
Eri : (Points at Junjun)
Junjun : I'm 21.
Host : But you look very young...
Junjun : I'm told that often.
Host : (lol) She is learning it.


How often do you see Eri playing the mean role other than when she is together with Reina?


The Morning Musume senior Eri respects the most is Yoshizawa Hitomi. Just recently, she went for a meal with Yossie together with Aika. Yossie was very concerned about them and they chatted about Morning Musume. All 3 of them ended up crying. Eri finds Yossie cool~

Aika finds Niigaki Risa the harshest senior. Gaki-san is a perfectionist when it comes to dances and such that needs to be in sync so she will just comment on it without a second thought when someone is out of sync.

As for Junjun, Nakazawa Yuko is the harshest senior in her opinion. Simply because Junjun loves bananas and Yuko hates bananas so much that just by hearing the word "Banana" can piss her off.

When the host asks Koharu about it...
Koharu : There isn't anyone who was harsh on me...
Eri : Wait. She is one who will not feel the harshness.
Junjun : Indeed.
Eri : She had came here with the "I'm loved!" approach.
Host : That's positive!
Eri : Yes, positive. VERY positive. She is so positive that it can become annoying.
Host : (lol) You have just unveiled your initial intention huh?
