Eri : The day before that, I went out with a friend and I bought some rice crackers from Asakusa.

*Eri had mentioned on several occassions that she loves it when the fans go "Ehhhhh" at her. Somewhere in the mid of P9D concert tour, she again, expressed her love for "Ehhhh"s and purposely came up with MCs that will result in an "Ehhhh" reaction, hence the fans started "Ehhhh"-ing frequently, whether its time to "Ehhhh" or not.

**In one of Sayu's solo MCs in P9D concert tour, when the crowd Ehhh'd her, she told them that's Eri thing, not hers. However, before her MC ended, the fans Ehhhh'd her again and she asked the fans what comes after "E", hence they all went "Oooo~" and it became a Sayu thing. (In Japanese hiragana/katakana table, O comes after E)

When I was looking at the picture I was like "God, look at those muscles". Besides Eri, Aichan is probably another one with lots of muscles in MM. Especially at her legs. Looks yummy to me :D



Gaki-san invaded the costume closet and stole her fellow GoRokkies' costumes.
I was wondering why is it that in some pictures Aichan has those red gloves on while in others she's don't o: Part of the performance? Or removed near the end of the tour?

Platinum 9 DISCO (090510) Tokyo - Evening MC

Tanaka Reina's Solo MC
Last year for Eri's 20th birthday, Reina had planned to send a birthday message to Eri like she always do for other members. Since Reina and Eri are from the same generation and its Eri's 20th birthday, Reina had specially made a mail for her that was even cuter than the usual ones that she sends. So like always, Reina set her alarm at 11:59PM (081222) so that she can send the mail to Eri at 12:00AM (081223, Eri's 20th birthday) but Reina totally fell asleep. By the time she realised she fell asleep it was already 12:20AM (081223). Reina didn't know whether to go ahead and send the mail or not but an idea stroked her. She decided to send it at 12:23AM. She sent the mail claiming that she had predicted that the rest of the members probably had send their birthday wishes to Eri at 12:00AM however Reina had put in the effort to make it special and to send it at 12:23AM since Eri's birthday is 23/12. Eri was really happy and replied with a "Reina daisuki! Thank you!". Reina knows that in actual fact that wasn't what she had planned to do but seeing that Eri is actually satisfied with it, she just went along with it.

Reina : I think she may not be listening to me now, but when she watches the DVD and sees this...Eri, I'm sorry.

Yesterday's concerts MCs were funny with the constant Ehhh-ing from the wotas at every single thing and they even Ehhhh'd Sayu. Sayu replied telling them that its Oooooo and not Ehhhhh. (Refer to past concert MC if you don't get the joke)

Gaki-san's solo MC
Gaki-san : Kame-chin was cute wasn't she? (Eri's solo was before this MC) Before I came out she told me "Gaki-san, see you!"
Fans : Lol

It was raining in Japan for the day before this concert and the day before yesterday so Gaki-san was stuck at home since she can't go anywhere. She ended up watching MM FC Tour in Hawaii 2008 and MM DVD Magazine Vol.23's DVDs at home. When watching MM DVD Magazine Vol.23, she observed 2 things. 1, Reina is on the sofa all the time (In other words, in front of the camera all the time) and 2, the one who kept walking pass the camera was Aichan and was like "I don't know what to say". And as for MM FC Tour in Hawaii 2008, Gaki-san brings up the legendary Reina vs Junjun Jakenpyon battle. The whole thing lasted so long that it made Gaki-san wonder how much time it took up.

Eri's solo MC
Usually after a concert, Eri will definitely be craving for sour stuff. She gave examples of vinegar'd squids, Umeboshi (Sour plums) and 100% orange juice. The day before this concert, when she returned home after the concert and her mother and sister were actually baking cookies which caused her room to smell really sweet. According to Eri, her kitchen is pretty small, so with the refrigeeta, Eri's mommie, Eri's sister and the all the cooking utensils the pathway became so narrow that Eri had problems opening the refrigeeta. After Eri's bath, she could smell the nice aroma of the cookies which made her wondered if she has got a share too. And yes, Eri's sister had included Eri's share but as Eri had mentioned, she will be craving for sour food after concerts so at that time she wanted to eat sour stuff too but she thought perhaps she should try replacing sour with sweet. The plan worked out well and Eri got her tension ↑↑ when eating the cookies. To prove her point, Eri went "Yassasai ~ mossasai ~ Yassasai ~ mossasai ~".
FYI : 2 weeks ago, she did the "Yassai Mossai" dance in Oomiya.

During the Chinese corner, the fans had a practice session on what to "Ehhh" and what not to "Ehhhh" since Eri is around. Eri has mentioned she likes to be told "Ehhhhh?" so when the fans actually Ehhhh'd Sayu, Sayu told them to not "Ehhhhh" her since its Eri's thing. Anyway, the Chinese phrase for this session was 不知道 bu zhi dao (I don't know). Ready..ACTION!

Lol'd. Its funny how some of the wotas goes "Ehhh"-ing at every single thing Eri said during the Chinese corner. Oh yes, if you're planning to listen to the fan recording, do keep an ear out for the female Eri wota screaming her lungs out for Eri. Her voice was really distinctive among the male wotas.

Platinum 9 DISCO (090503) Tokyo - Orange ~

Tokyo concerts have ended successfully earlier today and a fan had again reported that there were too many of Eri wotas at the concert. CK had also kindly left a comment for this post.

"I was at the 5/3 matinee earlier and I was surrounded by Orange shirts and glowsticks. Great show, going back to see it again next weekend!"
Its really nice to read such fan reports especially for concerts in Tokyo.

I'm not going to start another "Eri is the best dancer in MM blah blah blah" talk again, but that's actually another compliment from Tsunku on Eri's dance. I've seen Tsunku praising girls like Aichan, Reina, Gaki-san and more on his blog for their improvement in their singing but I've never seen him praising anyone for her dance. Seems like he does recognise Eri's dancing skill as Eri's forte.

By the way, in today's afternoon concert, Eri got herself a solo MC again even though she just got her turn yesterday which surprised some of the fans on 2ch since the girls have always took turn. Perhaps its because its Tokyo, Eri's hometown.

Platinum 9 DISCO (090502) Tokyo - Afternoon MCs

Solo MC
Eri : My mother is one who prefers bland food and that's the same for me. But, my mother likes food that are even blander than the type of bland food we're talking about. Around 3 weeks ago, my mother made Takikomi gohan and with a bright smile, she called out to me that she had made me some Takikomi gohan. So I thought "Ah, she's confident in her dish" and was looking forward to eat it. When I opened up the cover of the rice cooker, it gave off a nice smell. I tucked into my plate of Takikomi gohan but it was tasteless!
Fans : Ehhh?!
Eri : I was surprised that it was tasteless however, since I'm her daughter, there are certain things I can't say so I told her "Mom, I think its a little bland." and she replied "Really? Just add in some benishou (?) or salt and it'll give it some taste". So I followed her instructions and enjoyed my delicious meal. Then, just a week ago, she made Takikomi gohan again and it seemed like she had planned to add in a little more seasoning to it. Even though I didn't feel too good about it, but with the thought that it might be tasty, I tried it. There was no different from the one 3 weeks ago. And I was like "Is she kidding?". I decided to try adding in nattou..
Fans : Ehhhh?!
Eri : ..even though the original dish was tasteless, after adding in nattou, it was just like eating plain rice (Since the Takikomi gohan was tasteless) with nattou and it was very tasty. Yesterday..yesterday, she made Takikomi gohan AGAIN! I took a bite, and again, it was completely tasteless. I didn't eat it...
Fans : Ehhhhh?!
Eri : ..No no don't get me wrong. As I've said, there are things which I can't say since I'm her daughter. Since there are bentous kept at home, I ate a bentou instead. However, since I didn't eat the Takikomi gohan yesterday night, there were lots of leftovers. This morning when I woke up and complained to my mother about being hungry, she told me "Oh ~ I've made some onigiris using the Takikomi gohan yesterday!". She told me that even though I was looking forward to a delicious meal before coming for the concert..but I took a few bites before eating something else.
Fans : Ehhhhhhhhhh?
Eri : Yes, that was what I wanted to hear. You guys sure know what I want. Thank you. I think it'll probably be Takikomi gohan again tonight, so I'll make sure I plan about what to do before returning home.

Platinum 9 DISCO (090502) Tokyo - Fan Reports

Read 2 fanblogs that had updated about yesterday's concert in Tokyo - Nakano Sun Plaza.
One of them had commented on how Eri was able to put on a perfect heartrending expression during her second solo line in Shouganai Yume Oibito - 「洋服にアイロンしてる手に涙が落ちてゆく」(As I ironed his clothes my tears rolled down my hands). Also, this fan added on that he noticed the increase in the amount of orange lightsticks and T-shirts in yesterday's concert compared to last week's concert.

Another fan did a review on some of the highlights of the concert covering Shouganai Yume Oibito, Kataomoi no Owari ni and more. Shouganai Yume Oibito,
according to this fan, this song can easily get him fired up and he was jumping throughout the whole song. He had also specially mention about the finger-biting dance move, saying that he likes that move. Jounetsu no Kisu o Hitotsu, the fan thinks that Gaki-san had gained weight, but still, she was being real sexy. He fell in love with Gaki-san immediately seeing her stroke the chair and sitting on it. From the way he had described, it sounds pretty erotic to me ^^; In the fan's opinion, the main highlight of this song is the girls' legs, definitely something we should look out for when the DVD is released. Kataomoi no Owari ni,
now that Eri had confirmed that she was drawing "be", the fan had followed along and did the same thing as Eri did it. It's You, the last time this fan went to Platinum 9 DISCO he got a seat that was far away from the stage so he wasn't able to watch every single move clearly however, this time round, he got himself a good seat and reported that Eri was totally engaged in her dance. Take off is now, seems like either the fan loves Gaki-san a lot or Gaki-san had outshined the other 2 members. The fan just keeps complimenting Gaki-san for her sexiness and the short skirts the girls were wearing. Love & Peace! Hero ga Yattekita, the fan went only for the afternoon concert so he didn't catch any fan service from Sayu or other members. The fan rounded up his post saying that he had plenty of fun in the Platinum 9 DISCO concerts he had attended and his legs are in pain now, lol.


Next week will be the final for Platinum 9 DISCO.

Platinum 9 DISCO in Tokyo - Eri's hometown

2 Platinum 9 DISCO concerts were held earlier today in Tokyo.
According to fan reports not only that there were lots of female wotas, there were LOTS of Eri wotas too. So many that 2 fans had reported it as "Too many Kame wotas" and according to a fan, Eri did noticed that there were quite a number of her fans (She mentioned in her last MC). Oh yes, there was a fan complaining about the female wotas being too noisy on the 2nd level, lol. By the way, Shouganai Yume Oibito was performed for the first time in Tokyo's concert today.

Really glad to read these reports. Even though there were no special project or plan to lit the whole hall up with orange lightsticks or to do a Eri-call since its a regular thing for Morning Musume to be performing in Tokyo, Eri wotas still made sure they turned up for Tokyo's concert, Eri's hometown despite it being Golden Week. Can't wait for more fan reports from Eri's fanblogs!

The return of her cold jokes!

Platinum 9 DISCO 090411- Nagano (Afternoon)
It was nice listening to the wotas scream their lungs out for Eririn. What surprised me most was this really loud female wota during Nagano's evening concert. She was surprisingly loud even though she's a female and her high pitch scream was so noticeable. I bet she got quite an amount of attention from Eri. Moving on to the MCs.

Not long ago, Eri got home and returned to her room only to find her room "ransacked" with drawers left opened and clothing all over the place. Eri knows that you may think it's just Eri's untidiness, but it wasn't so. The one responsible was her younger sister who wanted to borrow Eri's clothes (*Envies*). She was angry and as the elder one, Eri felt that she should talk to her sister about it which made the fans go "Ehhh?" since its a well-known fact that Eri has never been so mature as an elder sister before. That was actually the first time her sister's messiness had surfaced and it irritated our little turtle a little. Eri sat in the living room and called her sister over and told her "Its okay to borrow my clothes, but please tidy up and close back the drawers after you've found the piece you want" which her sister had responded with a "This is just the first time I did that anyway" face. At that moment Eri thought she should reprimand her sister for what happened and she started imagining her sister apologising because she wants to borrow Eri's clothes again. But what happened was..

Eri : Younger sister, if you don't tidy up properly after taking the clothes you want, I won't lend you anymore clothes.
Eri's younger sistser : Un.

It was unexpected that her sister would have just gave the "Un." reply and resulted in Eri not knowing what to add on so she turned to her mother who was just next to them for help.

Eri : Mom, what do you think about it?
Eri's mom : EH?!

Yet again, it was an unexpected answer that Eri had received.
But after that, Eri felt guilty cos' after all it was only the first time her sister had messed up her room and she didn't have to be so fierce to her sister just because of that. She's aware that she's being a mean elder sister and rounded up by saying that she'll try her best to play her role as a nice elder sister of her sister's.
So it seems like our little turtle really had grew up after all.

Koharu and Junjun's MC was fun too. Koharu talking loudly again and got ticked off by Junjun for doing that since Junjun can hear her perfectly fine. Btw, Koharu didn't know that there are Japanese cuisine in China o:

As for Eri, Sayu and Linlin's MC, they learned the phrase "Shi jia de" (Its fake) and as for their skit, Linlin played as SayuEri's fans, approaching Eri first and asking for a handshake which Eri agreed to and got showered with compliments by Linlin. Linlin then moved on to ask for a handshake with Sayu which she accepts too and Linlin told her about how warm-hearted and cute Eri was being just now but Sayu replied with a "Shi jia de" (That's an act). Also, do pay attention to fans joining in the fun as they join Linlin in giving the cue "ACTION!" for the recent concerts.

During the last MC Aika skipped Koharu's turn and started on her speech which I thought Koharu's reaction was rather cute even though it wasn't really that much of a happening.
And here's something nostalgic, the return of Eri's cold jokes.

Eri : Since we're at Nagano-ken today..those who are tall..are long!
Explanation of the joke : What she said was "Sei ga nagai no hito ga nagai no!" where by "nagai no" sounds like Nagano.
Fans were like "EHHH?!" and the rest of the members were surprised by Eri too.

Eri's excuse : Its becoming humid now adays isn't it? So isn't it good that I said that?
(Because she cracked a cold joke, bringing a cold atmosphere to everyone, cooling them down from the heat of Spring)
During Sayu's speech for the last MC she commented that Eri's joke was really lame. Also, Sayu messed up and said Nagano as "Nago", which marks it as the 3rd happening for their last MC for this particular concert.

Do listen to the rest of the recordings for last week's concerts. Eri has been adding in puns as part of her speech for her last MC. Especially Nagano's evening concert whereby Sayu will add one something to Eri's pun which had no reaction from fans and caused the whole hall to fall yet again, into the cold atmosphere Eri had caused earlier the day.

Platinum 9 DISCO 090404 - Yamaguchi (Night)

The letter read for MC GAKI's MC was actually a letter from Sayu, asking MC GAKI how she can earn back Gaki-san's trust after all those nail incidents (I wonder how long they want to talk about it. Its already more then half a year), which MC GAKI kindly added at the end of her MC that Gaki-san isn't angry with Sayu, and asked her not to worry.

A non-stop banzai call from Koharu during the last MC.
Also, during the last MC Eri said she fell in love with Yamaguchi and declared that from the next day onwards when she introduces herself she'll say that she's from Yamaguchi but was stopped Gaki-san and Sayu, who gave her out and told the fans that Eri said exactly the same thing in Fukui (Its true, refer to this post)


Oh yes, Junjun actually addressed Takahashi as Aichan during her MC with Koharu instead of her usual Takahashi-san. So that makes Aichan the second senior who allowed Junjun to address her as OO-chan.

Platinum 9 DISCO 090405 - Fukuoka

For Reina's solo MC at the evening concert, she talked about going out for meals with some members. She brought up both the Sayu & Linlin (Refer to this post) and Aichan & Linlin (Refer to this post) incidents. When Reina and Linlin were out together one day, she decided that she MUST pay for the meal since when they are together with Aichan Aichan will always pay for the meal which made Reina think that Aichan really behaves like a senior but Linlin paid in the end. After that they went to a movie theater when Reina was about to pay for the tickets Linlin stopped her and they ended up fighting to pay. Reina gave all sorts of excuses to pay but Linlin was being very stubborn and insisted on paying. What happened next..

Linlin : Tanaka-san, I'll pay!
Reina : Pay then.

Lol. Reina said she had no choice since Linlin was being so insistent and the person behind the ticketing booth had stretched out his hands for over 10 times just to try to get the money but both the girls wanted to pay and its pretty embarassing to be troubling the seller.


Eri, Sayu and Linlin's MC is being ridiculous, lol. They often play as one another's mother, manager, make-up artist and such now adays. As expected of the 3 comedians of Morning Musume.

During MC GAKI at the afternoon concert, she revealed that Gaki-san had a dream that night about P-Kame. In the dream Eri was acting responsibily and was behaving like how a 20-year-old should. She described the dream as rare and as for the evening concert's MC GAKI, it was a mail from Reina. Apparently Reina had been screwing up her Japanese pronounciation as well as listening. She actually heard hanazono (Garden of flowers) as hanakuso (Nasal discharge). She sought for advice to be able to speak beautiful Japanese. MC GAKI's reply was that if Tanaka Reina speaks in the beautiful Japanese way, then she's no longer Tanaka Reina.

Again, Eri declared her love for Fukuoka and said she'll write her hometown as Fukuoka. Fans had predicted she'd say that and started Eh-ing even before she finished her sentence. She was tsukkomi'd immediately by her nanny and fellow Rokkies of course.

Listened to the fan recordings of the concerts in Shiga and Fukui (I seriously listened to the full thing instead of forwarding them to the MCs)
Fukui's afternoon concert was..unique o.o The fans were doing new chants which sound really good and the girls did realize it too.
Eri & Linlin were "cosplaying" aliens during their MC, which was lol. Junjun displaying her clumsiness by falling down in the concert and Eri's kind reminder to not bump into the tram outside the concert hall ^^;
Also, after reading a fan report for the afternoon concert, its said that Sayu kissed Aichan on the cheeks again during Love & Peace. Perhaps Reina should remind Sayu she's not going to just offend one person, but TWO person by doing this repeatedly. I bet GAKIKAME are planning a scheme to break Aichan and Sayu up now :D

And as for Fukui's evening concert, what really caught my attention was Eri's voice. Not the sweet and gentle voice of her's, but a voice indicating that she's not feeling well. She sounded like she had a cold or she's having a sore throat (Even though her voice was perfectly normal during the afternoon concert). If it was a cold, I do hope that she've gotten well by now and ready for the upcoming concerts this weekend in her fellow Rokkies' hometowns.
Eri had also mentioned she had fallen in love with Fukui and requested for the permission for her to declate that her hometown is Fukui. But as expected, Gaki-san gave an immediate "No way!" before Eri could even finish her sentence

Well, overall, both the concerts were reported to be successful but I personally prefer Shiga's concert to Fukui's even though there were quite a number of happenings during Fukui's concert. The way Aika cried and breaking into her dialect again made me feel like she's really glad to be back home performing for the fans. She didn't just cry in the concert itself. Even before the concert, she was crying cos' she was too nervous. That shows how much the 2 concerts meant to her and how badly she wants to perform well for everyone there.

This week it'll be at Yamaguchi and Fukuoka. I'd love to hear some Yamaguchi-ben from Sayu if possible. Talking about Sayu, Konusapi has been changed to Wednesday and its only running for 30 minutes long now. Sigh. No idea why did they cut the duration down, all I know now was how happy Sayu was about her radio show being extended to an hour long last year.
I guess that's why people say "All good things must come to an end".
But on the bright side, at least it wasn't cancelled.

I wonder what April fools trick Gaki-san came up with this year..

MC (Kamei Eri)
The dressing room in Matsudomori hall is located below the stage, and there's another level below the dressing room. Eri being Eri, always forgets which level the dressing room is at. On the first day of Platinum 9 DISCO, since it was the first day, she was really nervous and that slowed down her preparation. When she left the dressing room for the stage, she ran to the bottom level instead of the stage without knowing. She couldn't recognise the place so she was like "Huh? Huh?". She then realised she was at the wrong level. For some reason, she don't want people to know that she got lost again but knowing the fact that there are lots of staffs standing near the dressing rooms, Eri made sure she don't make a single sound as she walked up the stairs. But the moment she reached the dressing room's level, there was a security guard standing somewhere around the stairs. Eri was afraid that the guard will laugh at her for going to the wrong level so she came up with a plan. She made the "I didn't go the wrong level" face and walked pass the guard quickly with a "Otsukaresama desu!". Eri knows she gets lost often, but at that moment, she also learned that she don't want people to know that she was lost.

MC (Kusumi Koharu & Junjun)

I wanted to tell him that that's a nice brown color but I didn't know how to. Can you teach me please?

As we know, Sayu is really weak in sports. She admits that she hates running, but she even hates walking too. Even though she likes the song "Aruiteru" (Walking) but she don't like to walk. So when she has an excursion trip in school, she'll ask her mother help her excuse her from school.

Sayu : I know its not a good thing..
Fans : Eh ~
Sayu : After "e" is "o"* by the way.
Fanas : Oo ~
*In Japanese, the Hiragana table is a-i-u-e-o. So after "e" is "o" in Japanese.

Sayu is aware that she's lazy to move her body and all she moves is just her mouth. Other then when there's concert rehearsals and such, Sayu don't really exercise. So during the first day of the concert rehearsal, when Sayu was suppose to do a dancemove whereby she has to bend somewhere (No idea it was forward or backwards). She managed to bend down, but wasn't able to go back to the normal posture on her own so she fell in the exactly same pose (That means with her back bent). She added on that you may think she's lying, but its the truth. The dance teacher told her she seriously need to train up some back muscles to make not only her dance better, but her life better too. The teacher advised her train her back mucles (a certain movement) 10 times per day. On the first day, since Sayu was still enthusiastic about it, she did it 30 times in a day. On the second day, Sayu thought "Since I did 30 yesterday and the teacher said I only need to do 10 per day, I shall just go with 10 today" and she did 10. On the third day too, she did 10. During the fourth day, it was Naichau Kamo's event. On that day, she boasted about doing back mucles training 10 times per day and wanted to make sure the fans know that she's training hard but..ever since that day, she had stopped doing them. She knows she shouldn't be doing this so she did a reflection on herself. She came up with a decision that she shall start training her back muscles..
..AFTER she turns 20.

MC (Niigaki Risa)
During a jacket shoot, for some reason, Reina went up to Gaki-san and said haughtily "Gaki-san, there are lots of eras, did you know that?". Gaki-san knew that and asked her to list the eras and Reina replied with a really confident "Okay" as though she was boasting to Gaki-san. So Reina went "First off, Heisei era, Showa era, Meiji era and Himiko era*?" and I was like "Ehh?!". That seriously surprised Gaki-san but she didn't correct Reina.
*Himiko is NOT an era.

MC (Kusumi Koharu & Junjun)
Not going to transcript for this MC. Junjun had apparently bought matching schedule books with Aichan in Hawaii. Since it was bought in Hawaii, everything inside is written in English. Junjun had studied English back in China so she has no difficulty with the book and neither does Aichan since Aichan has been studying English all the while on her own. Koharu asked who was the one who first wanted to buy this book and Junjun couldn't remember so she was like "Takahashi-san who was the one who wanted to buy first?" when Aichan wasn't even on the stage, lol. Koharu asked Junjun what's so platinum about the book and Junjun was like "I can record the members birthdays in it and such" (Shouldn't that be recording in your heart, Junjun?). Junjun then moves on to tease Koharu by acting like as if she have forgotten when Koharu's birthday is. Junjun went "Was it 13?" and Koharu "Mine is on the 15th! 13 is Michishige-san's!". As usual, they weren't able to finish their squabblings in time.

MC (Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi & Linlin)
No transcript too, I'm rushing off. Just a short summary. Linlin taught them how to say "Covered with hair" in Chinese. Which was "Hao duo mao o". When Eri said "Hao duo mao o" during the skit, she purposely dragged the "o", which was lol. When they were summarising up their MC, Linlin was saying that most animals have hair but animals like turtles don't. Sayu agreed and Eri was like "But for me, I have them".

Last MC
Since it was 3/22, its 22 which means its the Usachan Peace day. Sayu ended her part with an "Usachan Peace!"

I might be stopping all the MC translations for Platinum 9 DISCO unless something real funny happens in their MCs. No, I'm not complaining about it being boring (I'll never get enough of the girls), but I really need to concentrate on my studies for the time being. My National examinations are 6 months away. Apologies to those who loves these MC translations.

Reina bought herself a humidifier recently. Apparently, there's some sort of light function. When the surrounding of the humidifier smells okay, it'll be green, but if the surrounding stinks, the light will turn red. Just the other day, Reina's little brother showed her the humidifier. When she looked at it, the light was actually red.

Reina : What did you do to it?
Reina's little brother : I farted.

According to Reina it was really red.
She's amazed by the high tech machines that are available now a days and she ended up advertising the machine, encouraging the fans to buy it and try it out.

MC (Kusumi Koharu & Junjun)
In this MC, a picture from either one of them will be shown in the monitor. The picture has to be related to Platinum.

Koharu : What's this?
Junjun : This is the breakfast made by me.
Koharu : It's stew?
Junjun : Its not stew! How rude!

When the waitress was bringing the ramen over to me, her thumb was in the bowl. I didn't want to eat that particular bowl of ramen that she was holding on to cause of that, but all the workers working in the restaurant are Chinese so what should I say to tell them about it?
Linlin : At such times, you should say "Shou zhi tong le!" (I don't know, it sounds something like "tong") which means "Your finger is in it!".
SayuEri : Shou zhi tong le! (Woah, both of them sound really Chinese-ish)

During Linlin's birthday, Aichan and Linlin had steak together after work. When they were about to call for the bill, Aichan remembered the incident that Sayu talked about during Resonant Live. Sayu and Linlin were out for a meal together and Linlin paid. But Aichan, knowing that its Linlin's birthday and also, she's Linlin's senior, she should be treating Linlin. So Aichan volunteered to pay before Linlin does and paid for the meal. Linlin kept apolgising to Aichan after that, but to Aichan, its totally okay with treating Linlin . After the meal, both of them went to a perfume shop. Skipping all the little details, apparently Aichan was interested in some sort of perfume but she've never tried it out before, so Linlin volunteered to buy it to try it out first, then give Aichan her review about it. Aichan waited for Linlin outside the store as Linlin made her purchase. Linlin came skipping out of the store and gave Aichan the perfume.

Sayu : Before we actually move on to the MC, I want to talk about what the leader was talking about during her MC. The conclusion for that MC was that Aichan is a leader who is really nice to her juniors right? And Linlin is a really cute girl who thinks for her seniors right? But it made me seem like I'm some bad guy.

What should we say to tell them its out of fashion?
Linlin : At such times, you should say "Hao su o." which means "Its out of fashion".
Sayu : Okay.

Here's the translations for some of the MCs. These are all according to fan reports, I'll do up a proper one if there's a fan recording available.
MC (Kusumi Koharu & Junjun)
In their MC, a picture will be shown on the monitor and the girls will discuss about it. It was a picture of Junjun holding on to a plate that was containing some white liquid-liked food.
Koharu : What's that?
Junjun : Its not a stew. This is my helathy breakfast.
Koharu : Its stew?
Junjun : No! How rude was that! I added soy milk, yoghurt and of course, banana into aloe then stirred them together. After waking up in the morning, I'll make this with all of my heart. It has to be stirred for around 30minutes.
Koharu : 30minutes? Are you an idiot?
Junjun : I'm not an idiot. You're being rude aren't you?
Koharu : If I were to make this it'll only take me 5 minutes!

MC (Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi & Linlin)
Eri : Not long ago, I went to a Chinese restaurant for ramen but when the waitress served me the ramen, her finger was dipped into the bowl. I wanted to tell her about it but she couldn't understand me cos' she's a Chinese. At such times, what should we say?
Linlin : You should say OOOO (The Japanese fans don't understand Chinese, so they just left it as OOOO)
SayuEri : OOOO
Linlin : OOOO. Repeat after me!
SayuEri : OOOO.
Linlin : Alright, so lets try and apply what we've just learned! Lets try asking for directions!
Eri : Excuse me, how do I go to the railway station?
Linlin : Turn to the right over there.
Sayu : Yes, yes, turn right there and you'll (Pokes her finger into Eri's ear)
Eri : Sayu! That's not right! That's my ear! OOOO!
(A pun. Right in Japanese is 「migi」while ear in Japanese is 「mimi」.)
Seems like a really funny MC with 3 of the funniest girls in MM. Looking forward to a fan recording!


Fan reports
- Linlin teaches Eri and Sayu Chinese during their MC
- During Koharu and Junjun's MC, Koharu asked Junjun "Are you an idiot?"
- Sayu's costume for It's you is red while Aichan and Eri were wearing a black one which was described as devil-liked by a fan.

Here's a couple of fan reactions that caught my attention when I was reading 2ch for the updates of the tracklist.
- Gaki-san fans are really happy over the return of MC GAKI and her getting a solo.
- Yowamushi becoming Gaki-san's solo was surprising. When it was first posted, fans asked "What about Sayu?". Some fans predict that the afternoon versions will be sang solo by Gaki-san while evening versions will be sang by Sayu.
- Fans complain about the lack of Sayu.
- Fans are sick of Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou.

Gees, look at this! Eri is in the center! (I'm not dreaming am I?) . Meanwhile, UFI is probably really busy now a days, that they can't afford the time to design a new costume for Reina so they just made some modifications to her Naichau Kamo costume and dyed it black :D
But, WOW. Eri in the center! I have to get it!

Well, I knew the design for the T-shirt to be this, which don't look good at all. The black T-shirt is probably already the best looking one. Also, DISCO ball in the design looks more like a globe. And woah, what's with the girls' hairstyles in the photocards that come along with the T-shirts? For a moment there, they made the girls curl their hair up like some instant noodles in Platinum 9 DISC and now they make the girls look like they just woke up and took the pictures without doing up their hair for Platinum 9 DISCO's goods. Ah, but I have to admit some of the girls (eg. Sayu) looks good with straight hair. Putting Aichan and Eri's solo T-shirts side by side, it looks like its the same thing, just that they inverted the colors. And for some reason, Aichan's muffler looks more like an orange one rather then a yellow one.


The uchiwas were shocking. When I was looking through the goods I was in a conversation with Hammy, and we were wondering wtf happened to the girls when they were taking the photos for these uchiwas.

Aichan : Damn, Sayu is going to have a solo song in the concert! Wtf? Her singing is 10000000 times worst then mine and you're telling me she gets a solo while I'm stuck with Gaki-san and Reina?
Gaki-san : Argh, I wanted to sing Take off is now with Aichan and Eri, but that annoying Reina..ARGHH.
Eri : Oh yeah baby, here's just a spoiler of what you'll see in the concert. I kill all of you with my sexiness.
Sayu : I'm neeeervous for my solo song! (What's with her eyebrow anyway?)
Reina : I wanna sleep.
Koharu : Kirari is going to end..so this is probably the last concert tour I'l get to sing solo"

I thought it was a pretty childish thought, but that tickled Hammy :P

Moving on.

The towels look great and 5 stars for Reina's badass look. I'm thinking of getting the keychains, even though I thought it was like getting robbed. (I'm just a student with no income. 1500yen for a keychain is considered expensive for me.

I'm not surprised by how friggin' good the girls look, since they always look good in photocards.
Alright, even though I'm complaining about the goods, I'm still going to go for all the Eri goods and some other stuff. Onegaishimasu, Hammy!

Tsunku updated his blog about Platinum 9 DISCO concert tour which will be starting this Friday. He made a couple of comments about the girls and here's 3 that caught my eye.


久住が急に大人っぽくなってきました。
Just 2 days ago I was discussing with Steph about how much Koharu had changed in terms of looks and personality. I was talking to her about Koharu's sudden change of personality in 2008. Even though Koharu behaves childishly at times, but it was pretty obvious that she's maturing. She has became more reliable perhaps because of the fact that she has to take care of Eri when they go on radio and TV shows together. Looking at the 2009 Koharu now, she's different from the 2005 Koharu who was always in the Kirari character which I sometimes dislike. Even though I prefer the adult-ish Koharu, I don't want her to lose her forever genki and KY character which other members often jokingly poke fun of. I'd prefer her to be who she is and continue to bring joy and laughter to the group like what Gokkies had mentioned during a Resonant Live MC.

Its true. Eri possesses both cute-ness and intensity. The moment Eri steps onto the stage, she's a different person from the backstage Eri who fools around. She's serious about her performances and gives all her best like other girls do. Whether its singing or dancing, there's both cute-ness and intensity (or even, sexiness) in them. Just like what fellow Rokkies said, one can never get "used" to or sick of Eri's cute-ness. Even after being Eri's producer for 6 years, Tsunku still notices Eri's cute-ness.

So now that Tsunku commented on Gaki-san's voice, I decided to pay full attention to it. I'll say its soothing rather then calm. I played Gaki-san's Indigo Blue Love on repeat as I'm typing out this post. Its calming and makes one feel secured in this cold night (Except for those parts which she put extra stress on). Do try listening to Yowamushi with your eyes close. Its different.
